WORIC awarded £90k A4B funding

The Wireless and Optoelectronics Research and Innovation Centre (WORIC) in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science, headed by Prof Nigel Copner, has been awarded £90k A4B grant by Welsh Government to work with industry to develop an innovative all-optical switch technology.

The project will address a critical need in next generation communication networks and support the University’s vision to provide research-informed innovation and business engagement.
