Vacancy for Research Assistant - Radio Access Network Planner

The Wireless and Optoelectronic Research and Innovation Centre (WORIC) which is based at the Faculty of Computing, Engineering & Science at the University of South Wales, is seeking an experienced radio planner research assistant to work on a A4B funded Proof of Concept project in collaboration with industry, mainly Keima Wireless, an international Cardiff based radio planning company.

The main objective of this role is to further develop, product testing and commercialise a novel 3D ray tracing model for small 4G metro cells. The successful applicant will have a degree in telecommunication engineering with a number of radio planning experience and excellent working knowledge of wireless technologies.
